it's 6am and i'm still very groggy. will not smoke to keep awake.
so i've resorted to haiku-ing to stay awake.

wind kissed dead leaves fall.
twirling helpless specked with rain.
sudden night downpour.

richly carpeted floor.
of hues of browns,reds, and gold.
brain is shutting down.

am going for that smoke
i need it to stay awake
can't take it no more
