this was actually taken early this year when music for good organised a tsunami gig.

i didn't bring a camera down to baybeats this year. doubt i would have snapped photos for concave scream anyway. i was too entranced by their sound.

i didn't really bother with the arena bands this year maybe cos a certain electric co groupie person ain't around to drag me in. you know who you are. sharon and i were lamenting about your absence. :P and i'm really not interested in some emo indieband from michigan, portland, texas blah blah.

i would rather we have more good bands from asia. i have heard good bands from malaysia, thailand and singapore. perhaps i should use this analogy. you're a hungry man. you've only got 5 dollars. it can get you a plate of chicken rice with kailan and the works or it can get you a fancy looking but ultimately unfilling croissant. there is a time and place for croissants. but maybe you shouldn't give a hungry man a croissant when what he needs is a plate of chicken rice? perhaps we should awaken up to that?
