quiet evening at tiong bahru

it's quite hard to find a quiet residential hdb area anymore where the sky isn't totally cluttered by towering hdb flats. the highest estate in old tiong bahru town is a few stories. one can still see the stars. all the homes were lit,everyone was home but it's still very peaceful. only the very muffled sounds of a few tv sets and the clacking of mahjong tiles.
